Student Assistant - Spanish Tutor S17-18
Tutor students who are taking Spanish courses at SCC. Should be able to assist a student in Spanish I and Spanish II. Other duties may include helping students with study skills, technology and time management. Must be able to work independently and as a team member. Commitment to your tutoring schedule is crucial.
Qualifications: Any prospective tutors must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours for the semester in which they will be tutoring. They must have taken a Spanish class at SCC and received a grade of "B" or better. They must have a referral form completed by an SCC Spanish faculty member; this form can be acquired from the ACE Tutoring Center. They must attend mandatory orientation and training sessions.
