Student Assistant - Technology Support

St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, nestled in the heart of growing St. Charles County. Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.

We are seeking part-time Student Assistants for the Computer Lab and Ace Center.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Basic Tier I support
• Oversee computer labs (Tech116 and Ace Center).  Includes assisting students with basic software problems, print problems and general questions. 
• Service Desk support
• Classroom checks & inventory
• Basic AV events
• Hardware setup in classrooms and offices
• Computer moves

Computer Lab hours:

• 4:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m.
• 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m.

Service Desk:

• Evenings and Saturday

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Must be a current student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must be dependable and customer service oriented.
• Able to communicate effectively.
