St. Charles Community College seeks a part-time Cashier (24 hours per week) who will receive and deposit funds in payment for goods or services by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Accurately collect and process payments and funds.
• Reconcile daily collection and make deposits.
• Works as part of Food Services team to provide quality services to cafeteria customers as well as catering clients as needed.
• Follow all applicable food safety and sanitation standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires experience in basic data entry, use of a calculator, and cash handling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ServSafe Certification (or equivalent) desired, but not necessary depending on the level of supervision required.
