PB Summer Camp Assistants

Our Corporate and Community Development Department is seeking Camp Assistants to work during summer break. Hours will vary between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and will be held June 6, 2022 through August 14, 2022. The job consists of working directly under the instructor in the classroom to assist children with projects, and to assist the instructor and SCC staff with set-up, clean-up and general assistance. This might include helping children in the classroom, escorting children to lunch, recess, bathroom breaks, before and after care duties, organizing supplies, running errands for teacher to retrieve supplies and materials, room set-up and clean-up, preparing materials for teacher or parents, and other duties as assigned. Individuals must be responsible and comfortable working with children of all ages, following instructions from teachers and SCC staff, and reliable.

Hours: Should be available during general hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (will be scheduled as needed).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required.
• Basic computer skills
• Experience working with children required.
• Must be detail minded and organized.
• Must become CPR and Epi-pen certified (instruction will be provided).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Some office experience preferred.
