PB Continuing Education Instructors - Culinary

St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, nestled in the heart of growing St. Charles County. Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.

We are seeking part-time, project-based, Continuing Education Instructors to teach culinary and baking courses.  These courses are short, focused courses offered for personal growth and enrichment. We are seeking instructors that are comfortable teaching students about the art of cooking and baking to individuals with a variety of culinary skills and interests. St. Charles Community College community education courses provide opportunities for adults to explore a passion, develop a skill, or learn something new.

Instructors are responsible for course development, supply shopping, and clean-up (these classes are non-credit and do not require grading student work). Classes meet weeknights, and weekend afternoons with some flexibility. Courses are located at SCC's Culinary and Agricultural Center (3 Academy Place, Dardenne Prairie, 63368) or via zoom.

Minimum Qualifications:

Food protection certification required (training available upon hire); some culinary teaching experience desired.
