Founded in 1986, St. Charles Community College (SCC) is one of the best two-year colleges in the state of Missouri. SCC serves more than 10,000 students in St. Charles County, a northwestern county outside of St. Louis, MO. career-technical programs.

St. Charles Community College is seeking a full-time Analyst - Financial Operations to assists the senior vice president or other executive administrator with the colleges' financial activities by coordinating various administrative processes and projects including annual budget development, completion of financial reports and management of college debt and investments. Understands and complies with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing financial analytical support to ensure efficient operation of the college. Responsible for safeguarding confidential information and time sensitive material. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information based on applicable laws and business guidelines. Utilizes sound judgement and maintains data integrity through attention to detail; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Serves as a team member of the department in the day-to-day operations, including customer service, preparation and distribution of documents, mail distribution, office supply ordering and inventory, equipment monitoring, calendar management, travel management, and performing related tasks. May assist in monitoring expenditures of departmental budget.

Organizes and maintains electronic filing systems, report maintenance and tracking, including related information specific to operational unit. May assist with developing, generating, and maintaining tables, charts, graphs, or other diagrams for reports and presentations. Provides assistance with document presentation, distribution and publication.

Ability to understand and follow college policies, guidelines, and procedures in order to meet organizational directives and goals. Must be able to communicate in a positive and effective manner with diverse, multicultural stakeholders/constituents, and students.

Reports to the Senior Vice President but may vary based on organizational need.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related discipline including a minimum of five (5) credit hours in finance, financial management, accounting, or related discipline.
Requires advanced level Excel skills, database query and reporting and advanced computer skills.

Requires regular and predictable attendance.
