This service-focused, innovative director is responsible for the daily administration and management of HR services while serving as a senior level HR practitioner in talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, benefits, workers' compensation, leave management, job classification and reclassification, and legal compliance.



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related area.
  • Four years of progressively responsible human resources professional level experience and senior HR practitioner expertise with an emphasis in compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development, and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong grammar and editing skills.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • Collaborative and collegial style with a focus on service to others and innovative efficiency.
  • Knowledge of compensation and classification principles and procedures including creation of job descriptions, job analysis and job classification, applying benchmark best practices, and ensuring compliance with FLSA and similar laws.



  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Experience in higher education or public organization.
