St. Charles Community College is seeking a full-time Registration Assistant who will provide program and registration support for Corporate and Community Development activities and initiatives.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Inputs registrations for non-credit courses, contract training, customized training, conferences, performance seminars and other division related activities.
  • Uses online registration system to set up programs, take registrations, online communication with instructors/participants, monitors program status, and reporting.
  • Reviews accounts receivables, makes recommendations on refunds, and follows up on questionable accounts.
  • Handles heavy phone contact; maintains contact with all aspects of division.
  • Greets customers to office, provides information, and responds to requests.
  • Assists with various aspects related to marketing of division related activities, including mailings, social media and community outreach.
  • Sends packets of information upon registration, reconciles receipts and expenditures
  • Provides support for division related activities.
  • Trains part-time information specialists on use of Lumens, how to handle the telephone, dealing with difficult people and procedures for mailing follow-up information.
  • Assists program specialist and other division staff as it pertains to program development and implementation.
  • Works with current staff to develop guidelines and procedures to enhance the registration process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
